The Best Japanese Ramen at Bari-Uma Ramen @ Jaya Shopping Centre, PJ

I'm really crazy about Japanese ramen - one of my favorite food! You can easily find ramen at most of the Japanese restaurants, but the perfection ramen shop is few. There is an excellent ramen restaurant called Bari-Uma Ramen that you can't miss it. I'm so lucky to have the chance to try their ramen, quite delicious lol~~

Bari-Uma Ramen has been successfully developed in Japan since 1992. They already have over 40 outlets in Japan currently. The first branch of  Bari-Uma Ramen at Malaysia is located at Jaya Shopping Centre, which is opened in May 2014.

Bari Uma means "Super Tasty" in Japanese language, it is really worthy of this name in my personal view. They insist to use the home-made noodles & aim to deliver impressive pleasure and experience through the authentic taste of Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen directly from Japan.

Wooden furniture decorating with white lantern and yellow light, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

All their ramen noodles are home-made to perfection!

Noritama-Uma 最強濃厚豚骨醬油湯底 (RM 29)
Chef's Recommendation! At Bari-Uma Ramen, you can choose the hardness of the noodles (Firm, Original, Soft) by yourself.

Noritama-Uma is served with pork flavoured shoyu soup, ajitama (flavoured eggs), thick-cut flamed chashu, dry seaweed, bamboo shoots, and spring onions. The soup is made from boiling pork bones, fat, and collagen over high heat for many hours. It is very thick and tastes great especially immersed with the seaweed! The ajitama is appealing and flavourful.

The flamed chashu is quite superb and tasty! I'm very satisfied with their chashu. They use the pork belly which is imported from Spain, with the perfect ratio of meat and fat. The texture of chashu is pretty tender and succulent.

Kara-Uma 辛辣豚骨醬油湯底(RM 26)

Kara-Uma is served with pork flavoured shoyu spicy soup with thick-cut chashu, bamboo shoots and spring onions. When it is served,  I can smell the fragrant odor which is like sesame sauce. It dose enhance my appetite. The soup is thick and properly spicy, goes well with the bouncy ramen.

Gyoza 餃子 - Japanese Pan-fried Dumpling (RM11 for 5 pcs)
To be honestly, this is the best gyoza that I have tied so far. I like to taste the original flavour of gyoza first, so I don't add any sauce. At the first bite, yeah~ it is the taste that I  have searched for a long time. The gyoza is juicy and scrumptious!

Negi-mayo Gyoza - Spicy mayo Japanese Pan-fried Dumpling (RM12 for 5 pcs)
Pan-fried dumpling topping with spicy sauce, mayonnaise, and spring onions. In fact, I don't like spicy food, but I love this appetizer so much! The gyoza is appetizing, the spreading of spicy, sweet and juicy feeling in my mouth, it's quite awesome! Highly Recommend!

Ishiyaki-Chaofan Chashu 叉燒石燒飯 (RM14.90)
Rice with Chashu, scrambled egg & carrot served with a very hot stone bowl. I like to wait for few minutes before mixing all the ingredients together, so that I can get the crusted rice from the bottom.

Yakitori Combo 燒鳥 (RM13.90 for 5 sticks)
There are 5 kinds of yakitori : Pork thigh and leeks, Pork belly, Chicken thigh and leeks, Chicken thigh, and Chicken breast. If you don't know how to choose, just order the yakitori combo, then can enjoy 5 kinds of yakitori at the same time. The yakitori is fascinating and tastes sweet & juicy!

Hot Green Tea (RM 3)

To be honest, I don't mind to revisit Bari-Uma Ramen again, because I can't resist their chashu.
My favorite dishNoritama-Uma, Gyoza, Negi-mayo Gyoza
