Angus House Japanese Charcoal Steak @ Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur

Talking about the best steak, Angus House Japanese Charcoal Steak is the best steak house at KL. It was shortlisted in the Best Steak House category of the Time Out KL Food Awards 2010. Angus House is a Japanese restaurant located at the Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant serves American and Italian cuisines delicately infused with Japanese flavours and style.

Angus House strives to serve excellent quality of good food and offers great service to its patrons. After I taste their steak, I just can thumb up for the quality of their food. The waiter who serves us is very polite and friendly. Angus House is famous for the Charcoal Grilled Black Angus Beef Steak, Spaghetti with Salmon Roe & Ablone, Wagyu Beef Steak, Master KOBE and Tiramisu etc...


Angus House attracts tourists as well as locals. A spacious and comfortable interior, filled with romantic atmosphere with the yellow light. It is the best place for the couples to date, enjoy the delicious food, nice service, and romantic ambiance. Thanks for Angus House & TABLEAPP to invite me and I really have a unforgettable Friday night here. I taste the steak course happily, so that I'm already craving for the next time visit.XD

 Homemade Bread
Bread & Butter - A chewy and simple bread.

 Hors-d' Oeuvre
Deep Fried Chicken - served with mayonnaise fruit salad, sweet pepper, lettuce, and mint sauce. A great appetizer! I love the it so much! The deep fried chicken is crispy and tastes good!

Soup
Potato Soup - Rich in potato odors and has a dense & creamy taste. Add some black pepper is also a good choice.

Salad
Japanese Style Green Salad - served with cucumber, corn, tomato, lettuce, Bonito, and Japanese soy sauce. I like this kind of Japanese salad. The soy sauce is mild salt and sweet. The salad is fully immersed with special soy sauce. It is a delicious and refreshing salad.

Raw beef - Look the beautiful marbling fat and bright red color. It means the beef is really fresh!

 Main Course
Tenderloin Steak - The steaks is served with sizzling hotplates, so that the meat will remain hot before you finish it. When it comes, I can smell the creamy fragrance. The muscle of tenderloin part does very little work, so it is the tenderest part of the beef. Prepared medium by the chef's recommendation, it is tender and juicy.

Rib Eye Steak - It is one of the more flavorful cuts of beef, because it comes from the upper rib cage area, which does not support much of the cow's weight, nor does it have to work hard or exercise. Prepared medium well, most girls like this steak. Its marbling of fat makes this very good for slow roasting and tastes nice.

Sirloin Steak - The sirloin steak is a steak cut from the back of the cow. Full of delicate meat with marble-like oil layer. Prepare medium, the meat is tender without difficult chewing strip.

Wagyu Tenderloin Beef Steak - Wagyu ( literally "Japanese cow") refers to several breeds of cattle, the most desired of which is genetically predisposed to intense marbling and to producing a high percentage of oleaginous unsaturated fat. Prepared medium well, the meat is not only succulent but also full of different special odors. You can feel first odor at the first bite, and then feel different odors at the following bites. What a wonderful taste! Highly recommend!

Wagyu Tenderloin Beef Steak

Master Kobe Sirloin Beef Steak - Kobe beef is from Tajima strain of wagye cattle, which raised in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The meat is famous for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. Prepared medium well, you can't believe how soft it is. Even children can eat it easily. It tastes awesome tenderness with wonderful sweetness from the meat. I love it so much! This is the best steak that I have tried, and it's also the signature steak at Angus House. Highly recommend!    

Homemade Dessert
Black Currant Cake - served with watermelon, aside with chocolate & milk syrup. The cake is sour and not greasy, add some chocolate syrup will be more perfect. At last have a slice of refreshing watermelon to promote your digestion. A nice ending~~

Ice Red Wine to accompany with delicious steak, really enjoy my dinner!



I really satisfy for their food, especially the Master Kobe Sirloin Beef Steak and Wagyu Tenderloin Beef Steak. By the way, the Christmas is coming! Angus House has a  "Christmas Exclusive Set Menu" for everyone to enjoy their yummy food! What are you waiting for ?
