Normally healthy food is not tasty and appealing. But this "Bamboo Salted Chicken" is healthy and delicious! They steam or braise the meat, so that it will be less oil. Bamboo Salted Chicken is a Chinese restaurant, located at Pandan Perdana, but it is not easy to find a parking. In spite of this, the shop reserve 1~2 car park for their customers. The environment is bright and clean. It's a cheap restaurant which is suitable to dine in with your family.

Bamboo Salted Chicken is inherited from traditional salt-baked chicken process, with continuous improvement on the process of baking and combine of best healthy condiments - "Bamboo Salt" and a variety of herbal cooked with Free Range Chicken. They have three kinds of bamboo salted chicken : Original, Sajiang Ginger, and Black Pepper.

In fact, I already visit this restaurant for many times. I always order the Combo A ( Wing portion for RM12.90 ; Drumstick portion for RM13.90), The combo comes with 1/4 bird of bamboo salted chicken,
vegi of the day, white Rice, and herbal tea.

Original Bamboo Salted Chicken

It tastes tender and juicy from the essence of free-range chicken and bake to perfection. Marinated with Chinese herbs. I can smell the fragrance of Angelica. Therefore, there are strong herbs scent along with the salty aroma. This one is really nice, highly recommend!

Black Pepper Bamboo Salted Chicken

Special formulated recipe that will tempt your spice taste buds. It tastes also not bad, strong with black pepper odor but not spicy. An another good choice.

Vegi of the day

They steam the vegetable and top on som deep-fried garlic and soy sauce. I like the way that they cook the vegetable, it tastes sweet and crispy.

The herbal tea is made by longan and mangosteen. It tastes sweet and refreshing.

Ginseng Roots Stewed Chicken 蔘鬚燉雞湯 (RM9.90)

Ginseng roots stewed chicken is also nice. The chicken is very soft and the soup is strong with ginseng flavor. The most important thing, it is not bitter!
